Magnetic resonance (MRI) refers to the phenomenon of resonance absorption of high-frequency electromagnetic fields by a solid near a certain frequency under the combined action of a constant magnetic field and high-frequency alternating electromagnetic field. It is mainly used for medical disease detection, as well as physical research on molecular structures and electronic structures of defects in crystals.
